In this series we will move verse by verse through the Gospel of Luke. This gospel was written primarily for a gentile audience, and specifically for Theophilus, with the purpose of proving that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. Luke states this specifically in the opening of the gospel by saying  "since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,  so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught."

For this reason we have entitled this series "Because I Became Convinced." For those who are not yet convinced that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, we hope and pray that this series will do just that. For those who have already placed your faith in Christ as your Lord and Savior, we hope this series will reinforce and further solidify your trust in Him.
